By Public Transport:
From the city of Salzburg, several bus lines conveniently take you to the Untersberg cable car. Opt for Line 25, which travels from the main train station through the center and Hellbrunn to Grödig and then on to St. Leonhard. Alternatively, you can use Line 28, which takes you from the center via Nonntal and Alpenstraße also to Grödig and St. Leonhard. Line 5 connects the main train station with the center and Grödig, while Line 35 offers a direct connection from Fürstenbrunn via Grödig to St. Leonhard.
From Berchtesgaden, bus line 840 goes from the train station via Marktschellenberg directly to the Untersberg cable car.
