Transportation conditions:
The conditions of carriage are part of the contract of carriage. They apply to the transport of people and things as well as to behavior in the railway area.
The transport contract begins when the barrier is passed and ends when the opposite station leaves the barrier, if one does not exist, when the vehicle leaves the vehicle. The rules of conduct of the conditions of carriage apply on a subsidiary basis from entering the cable car area to leaving due to the house rules.
By purchasing the ticket, the passenger accepts the following provisions and undertakes to comply with them.
A violation of the conditions of carriage can also result in legal liability consequences.
The cable car company is obliged to transport in accordance with the timetable if
the applicable legal provisions and conditions of carriage as well as the instructions of the cable car company made in the interests of safety and order are complied with,
the transport is not prevented by circumstances which the cable car company cannot avert and which it cannot remedy or
rail operations are not closed to passengers due to revisions or renovations.
Drunk people and persons who do not comply with the provisions of these Conditions of Carriage or the instructions of the cable car company to ensure safety and order, or who are obviously unable to do so due to their particular physical or mental state, are excluded from carriage.
The passengers must have a valid ticket. In principle, this is not transferable, exceptions are determined by the tariff. The period of validity of the tickets is noted on it or recorded in the tariff.
The ticket must be presented on request for inspection or validation. If the ticket is in a state in which its validity can no longer be determined, a new ticket must be purchased.
If the transport is not carried out for reasons for which the cable car company is responsible or in accordance with point 5 b), the fare will be refunded upon request. If the transport is not carried out for reasons for which the passenger is responsible, there is no entitlement to a refund of the fare.
The following applies to the behavior of passengers before, during and after the journey:
The passengers have to behave in such a way that the safety of the cable car operation and the passengers are not endangered and the order and operations are not disrupted.
Passengers are only allowed to enter the railway systems and rooms in the stations that are open to the general public or passengers as intended.
After opening the station doors, passengers have to enter the cable car as soon as possible. The car door area is then to be kept clear.
Smoking is prohibited in the stations and during the journey.
If the cable car is shut down during the journey, the passengers must remain calm and wait for the instructions from the cable car staff.
It is forbidden to hold out or discard objects while driving.
After completing the journey, leave the platform quickly in the direction indicated.
The prohibitions, commands and instructions that are relevant for passengers of the cable car, usually made recognizable by symbol signs, must be strictly observed.
The instructions of the railway staff must be followed.
For the duration of an epidemic or pandemic, all passengers must wear the mouth and nose protection prescribed by the authorities or by law and must follow all other measures prescribed by the authorities or by law.
Children up to the age of six or persons subject to supervision may only be transported when accompanied by a suitable and authorized person.
The passenger may carry easily portable, non-bulky items up to a total weight of 10 kg and sports equipment, depending on the space available in the vehicle.
People who damage or contaminate systems, vehicles or other facilities of the cable car have to pay the repair or cleaning costs. Deliberate damage will also be reported.
Animals are permitted for transport if transport that does not impair safe operation can be expected, the keeper keeps the animal safely during the transport and any passengers traveling with them do not raise any objection.
In any case, dogs need a muzzle and a leash.
Luggage over 10 kg will only be carried by special agreement.
